Register with us as a New Patient

Catchment Area

We cover the following postcode areas:
G43, G46 (excluding G46.6) and G53.7 (cut off Peat Rd at Nitshill Rd)

How to Register

To register as a patient with the practice, please drop into the health centre and ask our reception staff for a new patient registration pack. (Please avoid peak times between 8:30 and 10:30am).

Both practices within the Healthcentre operate an altenate months process for New Patients registering within the Healthcentre. This is for those patients who have no prefernce which GP practice they would like to join. We will never refuse any patient who wishes to join our parctice.

Complete the necessary forms and return them to our reception along with all relevant documentation.

All new patients can attend a New Patient Registration examine if they feel this is required. This is optional and is available within six months of joining the practice. At this appointment we will carry out some basic tests such as weight, urinanalysis, possibly some blood tests and a medication review.

If you have your medical card it would be useful to bring this along. Medical treatment is available from the date of registration. Please contact reception for further information.

Please remember to bring along all relevant documentation and all medication that you are currently taking.

There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to register with your chosen GP. For example, you may live too far away. If this is the case simply choose another GP in your local area.

If you need further information on available local practices, please call Practitioners Services on 0141 300 1300

Your medical records may take several weeks to arrive at the Practice.
